• Communications: emails, chat and phone enquiries you send us.
• Website data: cookies, device information and basic analytics to improve the site.

• To manage your reservation, check-in and stay.
• To take payment and prevent fraud.
• To reply to enquiries and provide customer support.
• To comply with legal obligations, including ID verification and record keeping.
• To send service messages about your booking. Marketing emails are only sent if you opt in.

We share information only with providers that help us run the business, such as our booking system, payment processors, email/chat providers, and analytics tools. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose information where required by law.

We keep booking and stay records for as long as required for accounting, tax and legal purposes. Marketing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe.

You can request access, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent for marketing. Email reservations@smarthostels.com and we will respond within one month.
